Refurbished passenger hall now features four escalators instead of three, ticket offices got refreshed industrial design as well as overall historical interior was repaired and restored to the original appearance. After restoration works daily patronage is expected to increase to over 80 thousand people.
New passenger hall is fully compliant with existing service level agreements of Moscow metro. In addition, new fare gates UT-2005 designed and manufactured by CJSC ELSY were installed in order to improve passenger experience and meet current government safety requirements. These new gates feature elegant industrial design, safe for public and cleverly use limited available space. With a help of new fare gates commuters now have an additional option to pay for a ride by using contactless bank card with PayPass/PayWave technology.
